Responsibilities and Duties:-

Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android platform.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Troubleshooting and debugging applications to optimize performance.
Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.
Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Ensuring the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing.
Participating in the full mobile application development lifecycle from concept to deployment.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development.
Working closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Collaborating with backend developers to integrate APIs and server-side logic into applications.
Mentoring junior developers and assisting in their professional growth.
Adhering to coding standards, software development methodologies, and project guidelines.
Providing technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications.
Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and sprint planning activities.
Maintaining project documentation and version control using tools like Git.
Ensuring compliance with security standards and data protection regulations in application development.
Contributing to the improvement of development processes and workflows

Skills Required:-

Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.
Strong understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs commonly used in Android development, such as Retrofit, Gson, Picasso, etc.
Understanding of database management systems, such as SQLite or Room, for local data storage.
Ability to work with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit and Espresso for unit and UI testing.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or MVC.
Understanding of asynchronous programming concepts and techniques.
Awareness of security best practices and techniques for securing Android applications.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn new skills quickly.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is a plus.
Knowledge of cross-platform development frameworks like Flutter or React Native may be beneficial.
