Job Location: Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai (Work From Office)

Work Hours: Rotational shift

Educational Criteria for Position 1: 

  • BE / BTech (CS, IT, AI/DS, Computer, Civil/Mechanical Only)
  • Passout Year 2021, 2022 & 2023 Only
  • 60% Percentage Throughout the Academics

Educational Criteria for Position 2: 

  • BE / BTech (CS, IT, AI/DS, Computer, Civil/Mechanical Only)
  • Passout Year 2021, 2022 & 2023 Only
  • 55% Percentage Throughout the Academics

Primary Responsibilities for Position 1:

  • Will Work in a 24 X 7 Environment (NOC).
  • Will support the customer over email as well as phone
  • Will be responsible for the uptime of the various client projects being managed / monitored.
  • Will report to the team Manager.
  • Will make sure that the tickets raised per shift are closed in the required time limits and if not escalated as per the escalation matrix defined.
  • Raise and also update the tickets in CRM for all the issues handled / worked upon.
  • Will have to report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of daily shift reports.
  • Need to make sure that issues are handled in right time frames as per the SLA / commitments.
  • Monitoring & Management of Backup Application Support Mail applications.
  • Monitoring the Servers, Network Devices and Links Monitoring tools which are used BMC and Nagios.

Primary Responsibilities for Position 2:

  • Gain knowledge and experience in area of specialization or function: The Intern / Graduate Trainee should acquire the relevant practical experience and knowledge of the service or solution offered by the specific area of specialisation or function and should remain current with its developments.
  • General administration: The Intern / Graduate Trainee provides a general administrative function to the specific area of specialization or function, including co-ordinating meetings and logistics, filing and record keeping.
  • Produce and use reports: They may assist with the preparation and distribution of reports and review system data for accuracy. Where they identify errors or discrepancies they will investigate and correct or escalate them for resolution
  • Provide support to clients: They provide support to clients in very low complexity matters and maintain a log and/or list of all the queries.
  • Behavioural skills: Attention to detail, accuracy and good organisation skills are important success criteria for this position. They consistently deliver a quality service through their support offering. These individuals are team players and contribute to the success of the teams they engage with. They are good communicators and can exercise patience. Interns / Graduate Trainees have a passion for continuous improvement and display personal motivation and a positive attitude. By working with their team to ensure a quality solution for the client, the Intern / Graduate Trainee will contribute to client engagement

Role & Responsibilities for Position 2:

  • Monitors client infrastructure and solutions
  • Identify problems and errors prior to or when they occur
  • Routinely identify common incidents and opportunities for avoidance as well as general opportunities for incident reduction
  • Investigate first line incidents assigned and identify the root cause of incidents and problems
  • Fulfil approved requests following agreed procedures
  • Provide telephonic or chat support to clients when required
  • Execute approved maintenance activities including patching and configuration changes
  • Follow the required handover procedures for shift changes to ensure service continuity
  • Report and escalate incidents where necessary
  • Ensure the efficient and comprehensive resolutions of incidents and requests
  • Proactively identify opportunities for work optimization
  • Update existing knowledge articles or create new ones
  • Identify opportunities for work optimization including opportunities for automation of work, request fulfilment, incident resolution and other general process improvement opportunities

Certifications and Accreditations:

The graduate trainee, over the period of his / her internship with the company, is required to gain one or more certifications relevant to services supported, as listed below:

  • Trained or Certified (preferred) on Cisco Certified Network Associate - Routing and Switching (CCNA-R/S)
  • IP, WINS, DHCP, DNC etc. understanding
  • Should be conversant as user on MS-Office, MS-Outlook
  • MS-Windows Server (preferred)
  • MS-Windows XP Professional
  • MS-Windows Terminal Server
  • Switches and Routers
  • Basic understanding of Cisco Firewalls, Switches and Routers
  • MCSA, RHCE or equivalent
